the seven sisters of matariki

WALT: we are learing to add descriptive detail to our writing

There were seven brothers and they looked after their gardens everyday . 

One day they went hunting  at  90 mile beach when they saw seven mermaids Sitting on  the  rocks.

When 6 of the brothers went over  one of  them didn't 

when they were taking to the mermaids they were sing and they were 

brushing  their  beautiful  brown golden hair  on the  rocks. The 6 brothers

wanted them to live in there village  but the 7 mermaids didn't want to live 

With them. Meti could turn into a Kereru then land on bruch and he could 

 He listen to them talk.

Then  meti ran back to the village and tried to tell the brothers that  

   The   Wahine  turn in to Fantali  so they made a magical net for the bird 

Wifes. Then the whine got trap into the magical net the brothers got meti 

he could turn into an albatross and take the wahine to the night sky and  put the wahine far away .

Their names are  matariki  waiti  waita waipuna rangi  tupu a rangi.
